  • A humanoid pit-bull demon in a fleshy tan colour sits curled up and crying a single tear. Its tongue hangs out of its slobbering jaw and sits against its leg with drool dripping from it. Behind it is a figure made of fire with a grimace and heart eyes formed from small pits in the flames.

  • Lile, shirtless in a living room setting with a dead pot plant and empty rum and coke cans (labelled rum n' cock) sits in an armchair looking at a CRT TV sitting on the floor. the light from the tv is lighting her up in a shaft of light. She looks bored and discontented, yet definitely resigned to this fate. A portrait of Deevle, her demon, giving the peace sign is hung up crooked on the wall. To the left side of the image text reads, "There will be days when you don't know who you are on a Tuesday. There will be nights where there's nothing but you and your empty stomach in the dark. Don't worry about it too much. Watch some TV."

  • Lile, fully nude with scars on her arms and legs, gives the viewer a glum thumbs up as she lies on her back with her legs propped up. Deevle, her small cat-sized demon, is urinating from where he stands on her knee, the stream of which is landing and splashing near her feet. Beneath them, text reads, "We are eels on the grass in the hot hot sun."

  • A naked esh lad in a gold and lilac hat and lilac converse shoes walks like a zombie with his arms out in front of him. He is quite hairy and has a circumcised penis. A speech bubble near his head is saying "I'm da sickest, crunts!!" There is also a 'cool S', also known as the 'stussy s' or the 'super s', is hovering in front of his left leg.

  • A static-filled CRT television set with a winking Lile giving the audience the thumbs up onscreen, a jagged speech bubble coming out and reading, "Violence is funny!". An opened can of "Rum n' Cock" sits beside the TV with a straw poking out of the top.
Showing the opposite perspective from the previous image, we see Lile in a sparse living room with a single lamp and chair. She's grinning wide and happy as she proclaims, "She's right!". In her hand is her sword which has a severed demon head stuck through and hanging off the end of it. It's dripping blood on the rug.

  • Two punk girls sit at a bar table on stools, their arms and legs hairy and their faces scowling and pensive. They each clutch a schooner glass full of beer, which sit on coasters that say "On the Piss". One is Sri Lankan, wearing a black bralet top and a tartan skirt, with her black hair up in three ponytails like a mohawk. The other is caucasian, with an eyebrow piercing and acne. Their hair is worn in a bihawk, as in two mohawks either side of the head.

  • A title-card that reads, "Motormouth Comics presents - Growing Pains number thirty. The Search for the Something Underground that's Gonna come up and carry me". Beneath the text Lile is being hoisted up by six different hands that are protruding from the ground. She is laughing and has her head thrown back in joy.
First page of the comic, Lile is in a large hole of her own making, shown in a cross-section. Her teeth are gritted as she throws a shovel of dirt over her shoulder. Text beside her reads, "I hit rock bottom and I just kept digging."
Second page of the comic, two different cells are arranged in a diagonal from left to right down the page. The top is a zoomed out cross-section of Lile's hole she is digging, with the words "down, down. down" following after her as she digs further into the earth. The second cell is a close up of Lile frowning as she looks off into the middle-distance, her face and torso covered in dirt. Text beside her reads "hoping to strike gold".
Third page of the comic. Steeling herself, Lile is shown going for another shovel of dirt, text beside her reading "I know if I just keep going I'll find something,"
Fourth page of the comic. The text continues, ... "but it's too dark to see if I hold rocks or rubies." The text is white against a black coloured in background, beneath which are hands cupping a dirty handful of both rocks and crystalline structures. Beneath this frame is another block of black graphite, featuring white text across it that reads, "There's something down here, trust me."
Final Page of the comic. A cross-section of the now very deep and thin hole Lile has dug, with her working hard as it curves to the right. Meanwhile, to the left of her is a glittering vein of gold extending the length of her attempts to mine into the earth but untouched by her path. It is likely she will never discover what was there waiting for her all along.

  • A creamy white lamb-like demon sits with its legs curled up into it's chest, its face in its hands. It has a pink skinned tail with circular puffs of hair interspersed along it, as well as pink eyelids, hands, and feet. Above it in baby blue the word "dismal" reads in chunky bubble font.
A goat demon, creamy-white with dark grey horns lies crunched up and covering its face with its arms. In cardinal red above it, bubble letters spell out the word "Abysmal".

  • A black and white collagraph print of a horse-skull Grim Reaper in a dressing gown, holding a cup of coffee and looking out the window into the street. The kitchen he stands in has a cracked ceiling and flower wallpaper, with a simple kitchen sink and bench. The floor is black and white checkered.
